Job Title: Service Technician for Home Inspection Support
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Technician to support our Home Inspection team in providing comprehensive and high-quality inspection services to our clients. The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting specialized inspections such as radon, sewer scope, and mold testing, and obtaining certifications in these areas to ensure compliance with industry standards. The Service Technician will play a vital role in enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our home inspection processes.

Responsibilities:
1. Sewer Scope Inspections: Perform sewer scope inspections to assess the condition of sewer lines and identify potential issues such as blockages, leaks, or damages.
2. Mold Testing: Conduct mold testing using appropriate sampling techniques to detect the presence of mold and assess potential health risks.
3. Radon Testing: Conduct radon testing as per industry protocols and guidelines. Ensure accurate placement of radon testing equipment and collect samples for analysis.
4. Equipment Maintenance: Properly maintain, calibrate, and handle all inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability during inspections.
5. Certifications: Pursue and obtain certifications related to radon testing, sewer scope inspections, mold testing, and any other relevant certifications required for the role.
6. Report Generation: Assist in preparing comprehensive and detailed reports for these services.
7. Client Communication: Assist the inspector with communicating the results to clients in a professional and informative manner.
8. Continuing Education: Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and advancements in home inspection technologies through continuous education and professional development.
9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during inspections to ensure the well-being of team members and clients.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in construction, home inspection, or related field is a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients professionally.
· Willingness to learn and pursue relevant certifications (e.g., radon, sewer scope, mold testing).
· Physical ability to navigate and inspect various areas of properties, including crawlspaces and attics.
· Familiarity with inspection equipment and tools is desirable.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
